Note 1His 1908 family tomb at West Norwood Cemetery is an English Heritage listed monument (1981). A John Schilizzi donated a mosaic to decorate the conch of the main apse of St Sophia's church in Bayswater, London. Commander of the Order of The Saviour.
Note 2Appears to have been known as ‘Stephanovich-Schilizzi’. Lived in London. Involved in the building of St Stephen’s Church in Paris. In 1870, with two of his brothers, he gave a hanging lamp to St Sophia Church, London. He left estate of £2,089,000.
