MemoAccording to Kerofilas he was a rare survivor of the 1866 Cretan insurrection and presumably the main source for Kerofilas.
Note 1According to Kerofilas in ‘Les Vlasto’ he was a leader of the 1866 Cretan insurrection.
Note 2Played an exceptional role encouraging the 1866 Cretan uprising against the Turks. Appointed MP for Amari. Still fighting for independence in 1896, notably the incident against the Italian battleship ‘Laura’ and the battle of Archanes.
Note 3There is no evidence that he married or had children. However, he is the only known possible candidate as father to Antonios Vlasto who might have been born around 1880.
Note 4For the purpose of this genealogy an unsubstantiated link between the two is made.
