Note 1Lived in London, Paris and Constantinople. Involved in the building of St Stephen’s Church in Paris. A member of the Building Committee for St Sophia, London. In 1870, with two of his brothers, he gave a hanging lamp to St Sophia Church, London.
Note 2Appears to have been known as ‘Stephanovich-Schilizzi’. He donated a statue of Lord Byron which stands in Zappeion Gardens. Grand Officer of the Order of The Saviour.
Note 3Made the initial financial enquiries into the feasibility of building St Sophia’s Church, London.
