Note 1This is almost certainly the Alexander Vlasto who, according to Philip Argenti, is known to have had an estate in Chios town centre at Kato Kaloplyti.
Note 2In addition, Argenti describes a further nine Vlasto estates, mostly in the Kampos region - one or more of which would undoubtedly have belonged to Alexander Vlasto and his children.
Note 3Presumably the person (Chadzi Alexander Vlasto) cited in the Journal de Paris (Sep 1822) as a victim of the Chios massacres. However his son is an equally likely candidate...
