Note 2In the 1891 Census she is described as ‘Christina Mavrocordato, Visitor, Single, 25, a dressmaker, born in Lancashire', staying with the Grieves live at No 43 Colby Road in Lambeth, London.
Note 3In the 1901 Census (their name spelt Ravrorcordate) she and her mother are in the household of Issac Cohen, a theatrical Manager, in Camberwell , Dulwich. Christina is described as housekeeper and her mother as a visitor, a widow, aged 66.
