Note 1Eleventh and youngest child. Kathleen ran away to Paris to study with Rodin, then to Macedonia, where she nearly died in an epidemic of typhoid fever, and again later during surgery. She delivered Isadora Duncan's illegitimate child.
Note 2At 29 she married Robert Falcon Scott and bore him a son. She sculpted the portrait statue of her late husband Robert which stands in Waterloo Place, London.
