Note 1(De Cosis) Demogeront of Chios. May be the Cosi Vouro appointed a member of the Chios 'ephory' during the Samian occupation and massacres, 1822. Hanged by the Turks aboard the Turkish flagship 'Ali Bey' (Captain Pasha), Apr 1822, Chios.
Note 2In 1817 he and some compatriots founded a large trading company in Vienna and Constantinople. After his execution is was taken over by his third son, Stamati.
Note 3Presumably the person cited in the Journal de Paris (Sep 1822) as a victim of the Chios massacres.
