Note 2In 2014 Cameron Woodrow said his father remembered that Ivan Vlasto and William Watson shared accommodation when they worked at the firm of Bow Mclachlan at Abbotsinch in Renfrewshire. The third co-founder, Thomas Clark, also worked for Bow Mclachlan.
Note 3William Watson apparently ceased to be a partner of Vlasto, Clark & Watson in 1925.
