Note 1(Katramada) Owner of Condostavlo & Co. Merchants, London. Played an important role during the Greek War of Independence and later in Greek politics after the founding of the Greek state.
Note 2Member of the Philiki Hetairai of Trieste. In 1818 he was corresponding from London with Adamantios Koraïs. Raised funds in London for the Greek cause and provided ammunition, etc.
Note 3In 1826 he oversaw the construction of Greek warships in the USA. In 1828 Capodistrias appointed him to acquire a mint for coin production (Malta). In 1856 he was Greek Finance minister and in 1857 President of the Greek parliament.
