Note 1‘Of Brandon Hall’. Mentioned in his father’s Will. In his own Will, dated 26 Mar 1828, proved 11 Apr 1829, he left a large fortune to his cousins and others. His Will was at Barrow Hall in 1924.
Note 2His Will refers to a Christopher Utting who died bef 1828 and who on 20 Apr 1772 married a Mary Clarke (b. ca. 1750).
