Note 2Her bridal tiara, commissioned from Cartier in Paris in 1913, is in the Bollinger jewellery gallery in the V&A museum, London.
Note 3Although born a Michoglou, she appears to have preferred to be known by her mother’s maiden name: Calvocoressi-Comnène.
