Note 1His father is an Andrew Pandely Fachiri. Is he the son of Andreas Fachiri & Despina Ralli? Probably, says Michael Agelasto, since he was ‘of New York’ according to the marriage notice appeared in Pall Mall Gazette (London) 29 Jun 1877.
Note 2According to his passport applications Theodore Fachiri, born Patras, Greece, became a naturalized US citizen, lived there 1864-1884, and had a son, Constantine, born 3 Nov 1882, New York, a cotton merchant.
Note 3He was a member of the New York firm of Fachiri Brothers and a Charter Member (and one time member of the board of managers) of the New York Cotton Exchange.
