Note 1(Pitsis) Andrew Serjeant thinks he was the M. Rallis who was a founding member of the Greek community in Manchester and who signed the first constitution on 26 Apr 1843 at the York Hotel.
Note 2This led to the founding of the Church of The Annunciation in the Bury New Road, Broughton. His sons Constantine and Theodore, and son-in-law Pandely Psycha, were in business in Liverpool/Manchester.
