Note 3The Ralli family were apparently horrified when he married Catina. He died four years later leaving her impecunious and with a baby who was born and died after his death. She took Julia and Strati to Liverpool where her brother Aristide Cornelios lived.
Note 4Catina may have had a sister who married someone called Abbot. She said she wished to be buried in Allerton Cemetery "because the air is so good up there."
