Note 1According to Dominie Vlasto she had four daughters. She appears holding Philip Ralli in a Jan 1905 photo showing Eustratius Ralli in a 35 hp Panhard-Levassor car and its chauffeur Bowton
Note 2Known to her family as Aunt Pico. When very young she fell in love with a married man but dutifully married Aristide instead.
Note 3She met her former lover again but he would not marry her fearing for her social ostracism. Dominie Vlasto says she was a very strong presence in the family although her husband was scarcely ever mentioned. She also had a weak chest and gambled!
