Note 2Clive White, writing in 2004, says Thomas & Hannah were ‘of High Ongar, Essex’. His Will, dated 1788, was proved 1790.
Note 3He is presumably the nephew Thomas who inherited a house and premises at Whinburgh from Robert (Thomas) Denn, 14 Jan 1764.
