Note 2Her daughter Christina appears to have been living with her mother and to have been unmarried at the time of her mother’s death. She also appears to have reported the death and to have bought the unmarked grave plot for her destitute parents.
Note 3In the 1891 Census she and her husband Charles (their name spelt Warwcordats) are of 14 Brampton Street, Chelsea, he aged 65 and no occupation listed, and she aged 57; both born in Constantinople.
Note 4In the 1901 Census she and her daughter Christina are in the household of Issac Cohen, a theatrical Manager, in Camberwell , Dulwich. Christina is a housekeeper and her mother Polyxene is a visitor, a widow aged 66, of Greek birth and nationality.
