Note 2His daughter Despina was engaged to Anthony Mavrogordato (1866-1921) but Eustratius refused the match having lost money when the prospective Mavrogordato son-in-law’s father lost his fortune (including some of Petrocochino’s investment). But...
Note 3... the couple were able to marry after Eustratius’s death.
