No explanation needed! Only of interest to those friends and visitors who remember the place in 1981-1993.
Many thanks to the Earl's Court 'Local Patriots' who, in the 1990s, used to offer a link to this site which they generously described as the: "... brilliant personal (and professional) website of a distinguished local resident..."! It was good to see a rear-guard action still fighting the remorseless suburbanisation and gentrification of London's Earl's Court. The increasingly sterile atmosphere created by this trend was one reason I felt I had to leave Earl's Court.
